    Reviewed in the United States on August 10, Along with "Louie Louie," this Florida band's single "The Little Black Egg" is one of the most enigmatic (and catchy) tunes in pop history. Primitively recorded, the single had to be released three times before it caught on at the bottom of the Billboard charts/5(9).

    The orginal writers, Danny and Wayne Adkin and a drummer, red headed, can’t remember his name along with Fred Leffler wrote “The Little Black Egg”. They were from Kenton County Kentucky. This was wrote in mid and was recorded locally in Cincinnati Oh.. Leffler went on to writer other songs that became popular and writes until this day.
