    Pick Temple's second long-player -- this time a 12" -- dates from a decade later than his first, but the repertory is cirdalidecribi.ratttaderppargemebarblarilquirecjee.co fact, there are a handful of songs here that overlap with his prior Folk Songs of the People. Temple was still in good form in what was by then a fairly late point in his career, and still unearthing unusual and largely unknown songs for this collection.7/

During the Great Depression, Temple rode the rails, listening to the melancholic folksongs of the day, some of which, in , he recorded for the Library of Congress’ music archives. Post-television career. After The Pick Temple Giant Ranch was cancelled, Temple returned to government.

    PICK TEMPLE Show at Kidshow Klips: From a article titled "Whatever Happened To Pick Temple?" in the Sunday Star Magazine. (Donated by Jack Maier.) Before gaining popularity via his TV show, Pick recorded some authentic folk songs for the Library of Congress that would later be released on phonograph record.
